Wildcat Den Preschool Director: Cassie Franer
Director Information:
Ms. Franer grew up in Houston near the Spring Branch area. She discovered her passion for education during high school when she began teaching preschool children in summer camps. Ms. Franer continued to improve
her teaching skills by leading several dance classes. Her favorite was a Ballet and Tap Class with 3 and 4 year olds. While attending Stephen F. Austin University, Ms. Franer’s love for learning expanded and she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Family and Consumer Science. This major required studies in several disciplines, including parenting and child development along with a teaching requirement in the Early Childhood Lab on campus. Ms. Franer completedher student teaching at Cypress Woods High School, where she was first introduced to the Wildcat Den Preschool. She spent her first five years teaching at a middle school in Cy-Fair community. She is thankful for the opportunity to return to Cypress Woods and to become part of the Wildcat Den family. She is very excited to be directing such a well known and successful preschool program within CFISD. Ms. Franer finds fulfillment and joy in guiding high school students 
in their journey to become successful classroom teachers each day.
